Dr. David Mills
Dr. David Mills is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Ausra Inc. a Californian/Australian company that builds solar steam technology. He spent 33 years developing solar energy technologies at the Universities of New South Wales and Sydney, and managed the research program that developed absorber coatings now used in vacuum tube solar water heaters throughout China.

About
The Alfred Deakin Eco-Innovation Lectures are an initiative of the State Government of Victoria. In 2009, The Deakins adopt a new format. Events occur from July to December, featuring international speakers in a program of free lectures. The theme - 'Climate and Innovation' - links the inescapable challenge of climate change to the spirit of creativity and innovation.
