Message from the Minster

The Alfred Deakin Eco-Innovation Lectures seek to drive debate about Australia’s future, inspired and led by some of the world’s most influential thinkers and innovators. In 2009 the Deakin Lectures focus on seizing opportunities from addressing climate change - a contemporary key driver for innovation in our state and across the world. As Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Innovation, I encourage Victorians to engage with these events and be inspired by the commitments and vision of these world-leading innovators. The Victorian Government is proud to support this successful series as part of our commitment to fostering and celebrating big ideas and brilliant minds.

- Gavin Jennings MLC, Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Innovation
